Nepal’s Visit To Kenya: Confidence In The Team After Gyanendra’s Return

Tribhuvan University has decided to continue exams until Bhadra 5 (August 21). The Examination Control Office of Tribhuvan University stated that the exams currently underway will not be postponed. The university’s Controller of Examinations, Pushparaj Joshi, said, “Exams that were previously scheduled to be conducted until Bhadra 5 will not be stopped; they will continue. Decisions regarding exams that were planned now or for the future will be taken after a meeting.”

Although there has been pressure from various sides to postpone exams at Tribhuvan University, the office stated that they cannot be postponed because the number of students taking the ongoing exams is low.

Chandragiri Municipality, located at a major entry point to the valley, has begun preparations to install the country’s first vehicle scanning machine. For this, the municipality has already consulted with senior officials of the Nepal Police, the Department of Roads, and other concerned agencies during the first phase. The Mayor, Ghanshyam Giri, said, “From a security perspective in the Kathmandu Valley, it is necessary to install a vehicle scanning machine at Nagdhunga. Even in the age of technology, how long will we continue keeping vehicle records manually?”
